September Book Club: The Wilderness by Angela Flournoy
Details
Join us as we dive into Angela Flournoy’s sweeping and deeply human novel, The Wilderness. Spanning two decades, this richly layered story follows a group of Black women as they navigate friendship, love, ambition, and the shifting terrain of adulthood. Through their evolving relationships, Flournoy explores what it means to build a life — and a sense of home — in a world that is often uncertain, complex, and beautifully contradictory.
We’ll meet in the non-fiction room of the shop — doors open at 10 am, and we’ll begin our discussion at 10:10.
If the event is full, please still come! We usually have less people than the limit - if you are on the waitlist, then come on!
Feel free to bring a coffee and a snack to share — we always welcome good conversation and good company around the table.
