rLab Coding Meetup

Welcome to the Coding meet-up group -

This is a group focused on Coding in Reading and surrounding areas.

There is no strict format to many of our sessions - some people come along to join the main group discussions, others come along to sit nearby and work on whatever they’d like.

The key areas we focus on at the meets are:

Technical Communication

• Communicating technical ideas clearly to people with varying levels of expertise remains a key skill in a changing technological landscape.

Live Demos

• Bringing your code and describing it line by line to someone else with a different area of expertise.

Pair Programming

• A methodology that helps programmers write higher quality code and learn more effectively together. One person assumes the role of Driver and the other assumes the role of Navigator. They must work together to arrive at a solution.
