UK .NET Tour 2020 Special Event @ Landmark (Speakers: Martin, Diego & Natalia)

We are delighted to announce that we'll be taking part in the UK .NET Tour UK 2020, a series of concurrent community meetup events with amazing .NET speakers from NDC Conference London !

This event will be hosted by Landmark Information Group in their offices in Reading and there will be refreshments available for everyone.

Kick off from 6pm with refreshments and pizza available.

Landmark (Imperium, Imperial Way, Reading RG2 0TD) has lots of parking available and you do not need to pre-register.

Martin Beeby
Title: Building a real time app with .NET
Abstract: In this session we will look at ways you can build real-time applications in .NET. From SignalR, to Serverless techniques to Blazor. We will look at the challenges of scaling these types of applications and how you can make these applications more resilient.

As principle evangelist for Amazon Web Services, Martin travels the world showcasing the transformational capabilities of AWS. In his time as an evangelist, Martin has spoken at over 200 events and meetups as well as producing, blogs, tutorials and broadcasts.

His primary focus is on .NET applications and has worked as a C# and VB developer since 2001. Prior to joining AWS, Martin worked for Oracle and Microsoft as a developer evangelist and software development engineer.

Diego Colombo
Title: Introduction to .NET interactive in Jupyter notebooks
Diego is working as a Senior Software Developer at Microsoft. Over the past 20 years he has been using .NET technologies in lots of different industries likes video games, finance and robotics. With a researcher background he still gives presentations and lectures in Universities around Europe.
