About us

Reading for calm, connection, and understanding ourselves

Do you enjoy books about relationships, attachment, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth?

I'm starting a small book club for people who are curious about how we relate to ourselves and others, and who enjoy thoughtful conversations in a relaxed and friendly setting.

This isn't a therapy or support group, and no expertise is needed. It's simply a space to read meaningful books, share perspectives, and meet others who value reflection, kindness, and authentic connection.

What to expect:

๐ŸŒฟ A welcoming atmosphere
๐Ÿ“– One book every 4โ€“6 weeks
โ˜• Discussion over coffee, tea, or a drink
๐Ÿ’ฌ Conversations about ideas, insights, and what resonated with us
๐Ÿค An opportunity to meet like-minded people and build community over time

Ground rules:

Everyone is welcome to participate as much or as little as they like.

We discuss books and personal reflections, but this is not a counselling or therapy space.
Respect, curiosity, and confidentiality are important.

No pressure to finish the entire book!

Possible books:

Anchored by Deb Dana

Attached by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller

Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff

Hold Me Tight by Sue Johnson

Burnout by Emily and Amelia Nagoski
