Berkeley and the Case Against Matter
Details
What if the physical world doesn’t exist in the way we think it does?
In this session, we’ll explore Three Dialogues between Hylas and Philonous by George Berkeley, an influential work of early modern philosophy.
As the inventor of subjective idealism, Berkeley challenges the idea that there is a material world existing independently of perception. Instead, he argues that to be is to be perceived.
