Hey Yall!
Join the ladies of Reading Rainbow on February 22 for a discussion of TWO books! (Since our January meeting was cancelled, we will be discussing TWO of the books from our book list).
From 1pm- 2pm we will discuss bell hooks' "Salvation"
From 2:05 - 3:00 we will discuss Katznelson's "When Affirmative Action Was White"
The group will meet at 1 pm at the Blackstone Branch of the Chicago Public Library, 4904 S. Lake Park Ave.
**Street Parking is available
It doesn't matter if you didnt read the whole book or if u read it 10 years ago. Come thru! We welcome new and old members. The mission of Reading Rainbow is to connect queer Black women with queer Black women, so they can foster friendships and build community. Reading Rainbow is a safe space. We look forward to seeing u there.
