Outline by Rachel Cusk

Join us in April for a book club discussion of Outline by Rachel Cusk, followed by coffee or drinks nearby for anyone who feels like staying.

First published in 2014, Outline is the first novel in Cusk’s acclaimed trilogy. Sharp, introspective, and gripping, it’s a book that invites reflection while remaining deeply readable.
Set in Athens during a summer writing course, the novel follows a writer through a series of conversations and encounters. Through these exchanges, Cusk explores love, marriage, freedom, identity, and the ways we make sense of life through the stories we tell — and the stories others tell us.

The discussion will be held in English, but you’re welcome to read the book in any language.
We’ll meet at Backstory Bookshop (downstairs). We’ll continue the evening with a casual get-together over coffee or drinks nearby.
