North Woods by Daniel Mason

May's book was suggested by Kristin and accepted in March's meeting.

Looks like a cloud atlas story but in one place, connecting people through time around a humble cabin in the woods. Daniel was a finalist for the Pulitzer for a previous work, has a stable of fellowships (NEA, Guggenheim), and isn't an author by education, having a BA in Biology from Harvard and a medical degree.
Looks like this will be a good nature flick for the coming spring.

400 pages and not at all in IndyPL, this is a newer book and is apparently very hot right now - time to support your local bookstore!
