September's book was suggested by Mary and accepted in July's book club.
The book appears to be a retelling of Huck Finn but from Jim's perspective - neat!
We read another one of Percival Everett's books recently and enjoyed it, this is also purportedly his most well known work - so it should work out well.

There are some genre, content and page length restrictions but we're down to give most things a shot.
