Rouge Park Adventure: Mast to Unnamed Trail Loop – 12km – L3 (Moderate)

Join us for a moderate difficulty hike through the beautiful Rouge National Urban Park.

We’ll start from the historical Mast Trail and connect into the Unnamed Trail Loop, covering about 12 km of forested paths, river views, and rolling terrain. Expect a steady pace (around ~5 km/h) with some hills and varied trail conditions to keep things interesting.

The route is mostly natural trails, with sections of uneven ground, roots, and possible mud. Good hiking shoes are recommended. You’ll find a mix of gradual climbs, winding forest paths, and a few steeper sections for a solid workout in nature.

This hike is perfect for beginner hikers with some experience who want to build stamina, as well as seasoned hikers looking for a fun and moderately challenging outing.

Of course, the hike is a go rain or shine.

• Punctuality, Please arrive on time so we can start promptly. We won't be able to wait for more than 5min past the start time
• Pack out everything you bring (including nut shells, fruit peels, etc.) to help keep our trails clean.
• RSVP: Only those marked as “Going” and have confirmed travel details (if requested) are eligible to attend the event.
• If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP as soon as possible.
• No-shows without prior communication may result in removal from future events.
• Weather Considerations The hike is a go rain or shine, so please be prepared for the conditions. for example, If it’s expected to rain, waterproof gear (like a jacket or shoes)
