FinCEN is BACK!!!
The new federal FinCEN real estate reporting rule took effect March 1, 2026. It impacts all-cash purchases and some non-traditional financing, such as private/hard-money, when the buyer takes title in an entity or trust (for example, an LLC or a family trust). It does NOT affect purchases when taken in a personal name.
Wanda Abramson and Sara Bremenkampf from Empire Title will be informing us on how this impacts these transactions and what you need to do to prepare!!! This is a very important class!!!!
