At this month’s CCIA meeting we will explore what independence can mean for you, and what it will take to get there.
Many people we know start their investing journey as a “side-hussle”. Even with a full-time job, they want or need more. Retirement plans, family obligations, college, weddings, and travel sometimes don’t fit the budget. Real estate on the side offers a lot for these people, but sometimes it may be advantageous to allow it to become the full-time venture. If that is the case for you, it will help to get your plans in place before making the shift. Let’s explore what you will need to make this easier.
Over time you may decide that true independence is not replacing one full time gig with another. We find that our perspectives and expectations change over time. Evaluating where we are and what we truly want periodically is important.
Beyond the “real job” and other time constraints, there are many other things that hold us back from reaching our full potential as investors. Many of them are a matter of perspective or mind set; others are a matter of strategy.
Together, let’s explore what things you can shift that may allow you to accelerate your success!
