19/09 – REAL PEOPLE: HOME COOKING

Usually when we invite people for dinner, someone has already done the cooking.
This time, cooking is part of the gathering.

On 19 September, Real People: Home Cooking returns to ATMA.
We’ll meet in the kitchen and prepare dinner together — chopping, stirring, tasting, helping each other and talking while we cook.

There is no cooking lesson and no expectation that you know what you’re doing.
The idea is much simpler: doing something ordinary together gives conversation somewhere natural to begin.

Maybe you talk while cutting vegetables. Maybe someone tells you how the same dish was made at home. Maybe you simply work beside someone for a while before you know much about each other.
And when dinner is ready, we sit around one table and eat it together.
