What if the floor was not just something underneath you, but something you could actually work with?

On 24 September, Anna Pecinová returns to ATMA with the second Somatics into Contact workshop.

This session begins with gravity.
In dance, the floor is often described as the first partner — something we can push against, fall toward, rest into and use for support.
Through movement, floor work, meditation and playful exercises, we’ll explore the relationship between yielding and resistance.

Where do you allow yourself to be supported?
Where do you keep holding yourself up?

What changes when you stop treating gravity as something to fight?
The session is an invitation to settle more fully into physical reality and experiment with weight, grounding, expansion and support.
You do not need previous dance or contact improvisation experience.
