25/10 - REAL PEOPLE: HOME COOKING

Real People is where good food and real conversations bring people together.

This time, we meet in the kitchen.

Instead of arriving to a dinner that has already been prepared, we will cook it together — chopping, stirring, tasting, helping one another and talking while the food slowly comes together.
There is something different about getting to know people while your hands are busy.
Conversation does not need to begin with formal introductions around a circle. It can start while cutting vegetables, asking where something belongs, tasting a sauce or sharing a story about how food was cooked in your own home.

This is not a cooking class. The cooking is simply part of the gathering.
Once everything is ready, we will sit down around one table and eat what we made together.
You do not need to know how to cook. You also do not need to know anyone.
You can come alone. Most people do.
