What we’re about
Let's get together and create a meetup family for single parents - mothers and fathers - as well as those aunts, uncles, godparents, grandparents and friends who help support them in raising healthy and happy children. Although based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, we will aim to create fun activities that go beyond the borders of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia area.
Let's help our children become more well-rounded by exploring educational, cultural, historical and FUN activities wherever that might take us. As we are all in different stages of parenting, let's also seek to learn from each other and enlighten ourselves to create better parenting experiences. Workshops and conferences that educate us on the important things we need to know in order to keep our families strong will also be an important focus of the Real Single Parents of the DMV. Together we can be stronger. Participants welcome!
