Heritage Open Palace Experience (HOPE) Days offer a rare opportunity to explore the historic home of the Archbishops of Canterbury, a place of faith, hospitality, and service for over 800 years.
Explore the Hidden Treasures of the Palace
On these exclusive HOPE Days, visitors will enjoy guided tours through some of the Palace’s most historic and significant spaces, including:
- The State Rooms– where generations of Archbishops have welcomed guests and dignitaries.
- The Guard Room– one of our stunning historical halls dating back to the 14th century.
- The Great Hall– built in 1663 by Archbishop William Juxon.
- The Crypt Chapel– a sacred space for prayer and reflection.
