Clair Hoover is the President and CEO of Freedom Storage Investments, where he leads the company’s strategic vision, growth initiatives, and portfolio expansion across the United States. With over 26 years of experience in the Self-Storage industry, Clair has built and managed a diverse portfolio spanning Self-Storage, mobile home parks, car washes, laundromats, and residential housing.

A graduate of Millersville University, where he earned his degree with honors, Clair began his career in the corporate world, spending 13 years in public accounting and computer consulting, ultimately serving as Chief Information Officer for an international food distribution company. This foundation in finance and technology continues to influence his data-driven approach to investment and operational excellence.

Clair’s current focus is on building and scaling commercial real estate with an emphasis on long-term value creation and investor success. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Self-Storage Association, contributing his expertise to the broader industry community.

For 17 years, he led the Men’s Ministry Leadership team at his home church and has had the opportunity to minister to and encourage over 14,000 men. He is currently continuing that passion to encourage others on their journey as a leader at the National Coalition of Ministries to Men.

Clair has also been featured as a contributing author in two bestselling books by Kyle Wilson, Success Habits of Super Achievers and Lessons from Thought Leaders, sharing insights drawn from his experience in business, leadership, and personal growth.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Clair is a devoted husband and father of two sons, two daughters-in law, and five grandchildren. He enjoys traveling the world with his family and friends, listening to live music, and speaking to groups—bringing the same energy and connection he values in business to his personal life.
