About us
REAL PEOPLE Prague is a community for meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and friendships that grow beyond a single evening.
We bring together open-minded, kind-hearted people from different backgrounds—locals, newcomers, and those who have lived in Prague for years but still want to find their people.
Our home is ATMA Community Space in Karlín, and we also meet around the city and outdoors. We gather for shared breakfasts and dinners, creative workshops, film evenings, walks, and conversations that make room for more than small talk.
Some gatherings are playful, others more reflective. You might cook together, try something new, share what’s on your mind, or simply enjoy being around people.
You can come on your own, be a little shy, and take your time getting to know everyone. There’s no need to impress anyone or have an exciting story ready. We value curiosity, kindness, and respect for each other’s boundaries.
We’re building a community where familiar faces become friends, and meeting up becomes part of everyday life.

Would you like to get outside Prague for a day and meet some people along the way?
Join our ATMA Walks & Talks gathering on the Posázavská stezka trail.
We'll meet at Prague Main Station and travel together to the starting point.
The route is approximately 10 kilometres, following the landscape around the Sázava River.
Walks & Talks is an informal community gathering. There is no facilitated workshop or planned conversation programme.
You can walk beside someone new, change conversation partners during the route or enjoy a quiet stretch of walking.
Who can join?
Anyone comfortable with an approximately 10-kilometre walk. You can come alone, with a friend or as someone completely new to the ATMA community.

For November, we're exploring selected chapters from The Ethical Slut by Dossie Easton and Janet W. Hardy.
Our central questions include why women and men are judged differently for casual sexual experiences, what honesty means in casual dating and how we can pursue desire while treating others with care.How does the gathering work?
We'll begin with tea and a short grounding practice.
Adri will introduce group agreements, followed by a sharing circle and a facilitated discussion inspired by the reading.
You can share personal experiences or simply listen. Different perspectives are welcome, and participants are asked to respect one another's privacy.

This month, we're watching The Drama, directed by Kristoffer Borgli and starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.
The story follows an engaged couple whose wedding preparations are disrupted by an unexpected confession.
The film raises some uncomfortable questions about honesty, trust, judgement and the things we believe we could or couldn't accept in a relationship.What happens?
We'll watch the film together and then stay for a facilitated group conversation.
Yasser will invite participants to reflect on the characters, their decisions and the different ways people interpret the story.
