Have you ever heard a song that brought back a memory almost immediately?
Music has an interesting way of affecting our attention, movement and emotions.
For this workshop, we're bringing that experience into painting.
You'll spend three hours exploring intuitive abstract painting while listening to 4BEAT music, an approach connecting rhythm, breath and movement.
Rather than copying a painting or following a particular technique, you'll experiment with how music influences your brushstrokes, colour choices and textures.
The facilitator will guide the process, but your painting will be your own.

What to expect
You'll receive a canvas, paints, brushes and the materials needed for the workshop.
No previous painting experience is necessary.
Homemade spiced apple tea and biscuits are included, and you'll take your finished painting home.
