Just a reminder for y'all!

I've selected some good videos to delve into, but left a hopefully satisfying amount of time for hashing it all over.

We live in interesting times!

This time the plan is a discussion centering around Timothy Snyder's "20 Lessons from the 20th Century", which is linked to below. Actor John Lithgow is featured in a video in which he fires all 20 at the viewer within 11 minutes. We can watch the video before discussion, skip it and move directly to discussion, or watch but stop and discuss each of the twenty before moving on. We will proceed in the order given to us by Snyder. Paper copies of the document will be provided for reference and convenience.

Prior to that, we will decide upon a perspective video from a very short list, to set the tone. Whether to do this or not will depend on the attendees. There is very little, if any, tyranny in REASON meetings.

REASON

Masking is not required to attend. Those who should normally be cautious are advised to protect their health as always.
Reasonable accommodations will be respected if possible.

Topics of the meetings change each month. Sometimes we will have a speaker and sometimes we watch a video and discuss. Participation is always welcome, but be ready to cite your sources.

Masking is decided by the level of COVID-19 and Influenza in the Douglas County Wastewater.
