The Epistemology of Love: How do we come to know that love is real and what kinds of knowledge (reason, experience, trust, sacrifice, commitment, or something else) give us confidence that what we are calling love is true rather than illusion or projection? Can love be known in the same way we know facts, or is it only knowable through participation and relationship? What might this suggest about the limits of purely rational knowledge?
