ReasonMTL Dojo June
Details
Mesdames et messieurs raisonnables,
We know it’s hip to be square but we also feel it’s about time to geek out a little!
For the next couple of Dojos we are starting to build a GraphQL backed ReasonReact app.
More precisely, we are going to build a POKEDEX (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9dex).
Amelié Benoit (https://twitter.com/AmelieBenoit33) from Ubisoft Montréal will hold a small kick-off presentation after which we will collaboratively hack the POKEDEX in usual “mob programming” style.
This means we all get to code at least once while other participants give direction – a proven and fun way to learn more about GraphQL, Reason, React and displaying cute little monsters.
During the pizza break we will also get to chat a bit about our learnings from ReasonConf in Vienna.

A pre-condition to joining the Dojo is a basic familiarity with the tools and the language itself.
Ideally you will bring your personal computer with a functional reason toolchain installed.
