Do you feel underrepresented and/or underserved by mainstream writers' groups such as the Association of Rhode Island Authors? Do you want to be a part of a writers' group that truly cares about you not just as a writer, but also as a person? Well, then Rebellious Authors of Rhode Island is for you! Regardless of your skin color, gender identity, sexual/romantic orientation, religion, physical/mental ability or any other such factors, if you're a writer from a marginalized community, then you're welcome to join us! We not only do get-togethers to discuss each others' writing, but we also attend art festivals to promote our works, and sometimes, we just get together just because. So come join us and have fun!
