Arbor Trace Trails @ Biltmore $10 shuttle 9:30 AM (new venue) $70 fee w/o pass

Note from Biltmore Bike Barn: Hello again Ben,
We have an answer and it's good news! We will be able to shuttle your party of up to 12 people to Arbor Trace Trail Head at 9:30 a.m. and pick the group back up at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30. As you asked, the group will be walking the Arbor Trace trail on their own; we won't be providing a guide to stay with you.

Meeting location to start out would be at the Bike Barn at Antler Village . Of course everyone will need admission tickets or annual passes to get on the Estate for the ride and walk.

The charge per person will be $10 + tax, with a minimum of 6 paid seats required. (Minimum of $60 + tax to run the shuttle.)

Phone: (828) 225-1425 Notes from me: JUST RSVPing on MU does not get you in. Need to pay for the shuttle. Unlike other RFAR events we need to be on time to catch the shuttle . Would hate to see you pay $ and not be able to join us. It is about 2 miles at 30 MPH to get to the Antler Village from the entrance ...then you park and walk up to Bike Barn. So please leave real early in case there is a traffic issue etc. As an Annual Passholder you are supposed to be allowed in at 8:30 AM instead of 9 AM. Any issues at the gate call Bike Barn 828 225-1331. This will give you a chance to relax and visit with others. Also farm exhibit right there and an ongoing video about the history of the estate. Restrooms and water fountain there. We are taking a shuttle otherwise 3 mile to trailhead ( 6 miles R-T) on Farm Trail. No other way to access trailhead as no parking area. Out and back trail with narrow optional loop at the end. 3 1/2 miles round trip. All Trails site list 1.9 miles without the loop. So you should be able to wait for us at the junction if you do not want to do the loop. Bikes may be on this trail. Scenery includes views of the estates agriculture and the Market Gardner's Cottage. Features a mix of wooded and open spaces. All Trails lists 229 elevation gain . Need to pay by 9 AM Sat Sept 27 . Bring picnic lunch to leave in your car and we can eat at the pavilion.
