Winter Lights at the NC Arboretum

Let's go see the Winter Lights show at the Arboretum! We'll take about an hour and a half to tour the show and shop the cute little gift shops at each end. There is wonderful cocoa, wine and beer. You can even get peppermint marshmallows in your cocoa! Bring your re-useful beverage container from last year if you have it! The Bistro has an outdoor S'mores pit!

Six of the twelve trolls are lit up for Winter Lights. It's a very different view of these six at night.

This is a walking tour so dress warmly in good shoes. We'll meet at Discount Shoes near the Arboretum at 6:15. We can pile into two cars there and won't have to ride very far to the show. Tickets are by car load so crowding in is worth it. We'll divide up the ticket cost when we arrive.

Please RSVP if you want to join the group. We are limiting attendees to 12 people and no guests on this one so we can fit into two cars.

Let's hope for a clear night with low winds. We are only outside for about an hour with a building on each end of the tour it is easy to get inside, warm up, and head back out! As long as it isn't windy the cold is fine. If the weather is threatening we'll cancel by 11am on December 8th.
