Biltmore Walk - Passholders can bring guests in same car at 3:00

Passholders can bring guests onto the property at 3:00 during Passholder Appreciation Days. We'll take advantage of this so those who don't have a Biltmore Annual Pass can join in a walk on the grounds without paying the entrance fee.

Let's all meet at the Ticket Center - 128 Approach Rd, Biltmore Forest, NC 28803 at 2:45 pm on Tuesday, January 6th. Go through the initial gate and the Ticket Center will be on a hill on the left just before the ticket checking station. Just go up to the left and travel through that parking lot and look for the RFAR sign. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PASS AND WANT TO JOIN PLEASE POST A COMMENT SO WE KNOW WHO TO LOOK FOR AT THE TICKET CENTER. There are restrooms at the Ticket Center. We'll get non-passholders into a car with a passholder so we can all get in without paying the entrance fee. We will use this same system to get folks to the music fun this summer so let's make the system work!

We'll drive the Approach Road and park in Parking Lot A - walking distance to the House. This is on the left side of the Approach Road and up the hill. Some of it is closed but there is good parking up there and we will be able to gather as a group without interfering with other visitors. If Parking Lot A is closed use Parking Lot B and we will find each other.

We'll go to the Conservatory to see all the fabulous orchids and other exotic plants - this is one of the few times you can see the Conservatory without a ticket! We'll walk around the grounds (I will figure out the path before Tuesday. We'll walk to the house and hope for great views to the west before we head back to the cars. We'll get folks back to their cars at the Ticket Center shortly after 5pm.

If folks want to eat in Antler Hill Village we can make those arrangements on Wednesday but those who want to go to their cars can expect to get back to the ticket center just by 5pm,

Tuesday's forecast is too good to let it go by! Let's do a group walk while we have the good temperatures. If the forecast changes to terrible I will post by 9:30am on Tuesday but I am expecting good weather. Friendly dogs are very welcome on-leash.
