Trolls at NC Arboretum

The Dambo Trolls are going away. Let's see them one more time on Thursday, February 12! Dogs on leash are welcome on this walk.

Join Recess for Active Retirees (RFAR) for a pleasant stroll with the trolls through the NC Arboretum. Meet at the Baker Visitor Center 10 AM ... inside the lower lobby. Look for RFAR signs and smiling faces. Restrooms are available in the Baker Center. This is a good opportunity to buy the annual pass and apply the admission $ towards your annual pass. The Arboretum's annual pass is a good value and our group does several events there each year.

We'll walk slowly through the gardens and trails until we find all 12 trolls. It's under 2 miles total but you can always stroll after the group walk if you want more steps.

The food vendor is changing but will be open after the walk for coffee and pastries if folks want to try it out.

If you don't have an arboretum pass, and don’t wish to purchase one right now, please make a note in the comment section. If needed we can pick you up at Discount Shoes on Brevard Road at 9:15 to join the group.
