Bluegrass at Biltmore Estate

Buncombe Turnpike will play at the Biltmore Bandstand in Antler Hill Village on Friday, June 19. If you don't have a Biltmore pass and want to attend put a comment on this by NOON on THURSDAY, June 18th. We'll make arrangements for you to ride with a pass holder.

We'll meet at the Ticket Center at 4:15 so we can get the non-pass holders in cars with a pass holder. If you have a pass you can head on over to Antler Hill Village and look for other RFAR folks ahead of time. After 4pm as long as you have a pass holder in the car everyone in the car gets in free.

The music goes until 8:15 some of us will leave around 7:15 to get home before dark - we'll see how it goes. Bring a lawn chair, sunscreen and maybe an umbrella or parasol! Biltmore asks that we not bring food or drink to the show. They don't seem to serious about enforcement but I plan to splurge on the ice cream. Biltmore will have the BBQ service, the Dairy for ice cream, root beer floats, and sandwiches. They'll have wine and beer available too. Leashed dogs are welcome.
