Montreat Treasured Tree Walk

We'll walk about two miles round trip on mostly level sidewalks. We'll see several of the Treasured Trees of Montreat and walk through the beautiful neighborhood from the Montreat Nature Center to the historic Montreat Gate. This is basically a group stroll with only a little narration of what we're walking past. There is good intermittent shade but bring a hat and water. You'll need sturdy shoes but trekking poles aren't needed.

There are no public restrooms along this walk.

Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome on this walk.

Those who wish can join a group lunch at the Trailhead restaurant in Black Mountain after the walk.
