Bluegrass at Biltmore Estate

Strings of Green will play at the Biltmore Bandstand in Antler Hill Village on Friday, August 14. If you don't have a Biltmore pass and want to attend put a comment on this event by NOON on WEDNESDAY, August 12th. We'll make arrangements for you to ride with a pass holder. I will post details for non-pass holders on Thursday, August 13th. Please do NOT double comment or ask for personal responses! We've always had enough members willing drive non-pass holders but we need to know you are planning to come. Don't ask to ride with a pass holder and then not show up. It's bad form!

We'll meet at the Ticket Center at 4:00 so we can get the non-pass holders in cars with a pass holder. Enter the Estate and go to the Ticket Center - Left turn up the hill just before the ticket check-in station. We'll be towards the back of the parking lot. Look for the RFAR sign. Please be there by 4:00 so we can head to the music.

If you have a pass you can head on over to Antler Hill Village and look for other RFAR folks ahead of time. After 4pm as long as you have a pass holder in the car everyone in the car gets in free.

The music goes until 8:15 some of us will leave around 7:15 to get home before dark - we'll see how it goes. Bring a lawn chair, sunscreen and maybe an umbrella or parasol! Biltmore asks that we not bring food or drink to the show. Biltmore will have BBQ service, the Dairy for ice cream, root beer floats, and sandwiches. They'll have wine and beer available too. Leashed dogs are welcome.
