Biltmore Walk

Let's go to Biltmore before October ends. Pass holders can bring guests in at 4:00 so we'll meet at the Ticket Center to get all non-pass holders into cars with a pass holder. Post a comment if you aren't a pass holder so we are certain to have enough cars.

We'll do a walk with an option to wait on a bench for those who don't want to walk too far. The plan is to walk from the House parking (hoping to park up near Diana for the start) to the House and get the view to the west. We won't plan to go in the house. Then we'll head through the gardens to the Conservatory for a bit. Then down the hill and over to the Bass Pond and Waterfall. There are plenty of places for folks to stop and wait for us to pick them up on the return.

We'll then head back to the cars and head over to Antler Hill Village for an optional dinner at Cedric's. The short walk will be less than 2 miles and the full walk will be less than 3 - enough to get some air and visit.

This will be a last hurrah for some of our RFAR regulars before they head home for the winter. Please post a comment if you need to ride with a pass holder so we have a good count. Rumor has it that the Christmas tree for the lawn is going in that day! We'll gather towards the back of the parking lot at the Biltmore Ticket Center - look for the RFAR sign!
