After being first conceived over a decade ago to break the silos between Developers and Operations, DevOps is now getting adopted by every other organisation to help teams deliver quality products faster, save costs, etc.

But, What is DevOps? Is it all about Build and Release (CI/CD) or is it more than that? What is expected out of a DevOps Engineer?

About the Speaker:

Sana Singh: Sana has been working since a decade, stumbled upon recruiting by chance almost 8 years ago and fell in love with all things hiring. Currently working as a Recruiting Lead looking after tech hiring for major offices at ThoughtWorks, Sana is passionate about people interactions and problem solving. She loves building high performing teams by both hiring and onboarding in the recruitment space.

She is extremely adaptive to fast paced working environments and adopting new trends by researching and setting examples for others.
Sana’s favourite things to do when she’s not recruiting are travelling and parenting her toddler.

Kulvinder Singh: He is a Lead Infrastructure Consultant at Thoughtworks with over 9 years of experience in architecting and implementing infrastructure solutions across a wide variety of On Premise and Cloud Tech Stacks. With a background of full stack development for the first 2 years of his career, he has been a practitioner of DevOps culture throughout his professional journey. He is an avid gamer and a bookworm, usually found huddled in a corner with eyes glued to the latest science fiction of his fancy.
