We meet on the last Saturday of the month to bang on about various topics in physics, mathematics, philosophy, history, exegesis, and antisurveillance tech.
We recognise ourselves in one or more of the following increasingly unpopular archetypes:
The Sovereign Individual: You are increasingly wary of the proliferation of state-mandated panopticons masquerading as public safety. You are likely a deGoogled proponent of GrapheneOS, hardened distros, cash, Monero, and encrypted communication.
The Terminally Offline: Digital sabbaticals are unnecessary; you simply do not create accounts. You cherish a profound dread of the usual dialogue dictated by algorithmic feeds and "binge-worthy" series.
The Cypherpunk: You build privacy- and anonymity-preserving tools. And then there's the state, which, of course, demands you ship with a "lawful intercept."
The Quantum Realist: You are a mathematician or physicist haunted by the hard problem. Your department will not fund it. Your co-authors will not sign it. But you're always carrying on about it anyway.
