Red Button Guild — Chiang Mai
The Red Button Guild is a meetup for anyone who wants to have more fun with a camera and find a little more creativity in everyday life.
We meet every Friday at noon in Chiang Mai, with a different theme or creative challenge each week. The goal isn’t to take perfect photographs or become a better photographer. It’s simply to get out, experiment, play, and see what we can create.
Sometimes we’ll explore the streets. Sometimes we’ll try a photography challenge. Sometimes we’ll experiment with an idea we’ve never tried before. The theme changes, but the goal stays the same: have fun with your camera and inspire each other to create.
And you absolutely do not need a dedicated camera.
Your phone is a camera. Bring it.
Whether you have a phone, compact camera, film camera, DSLR, or the latest mirrorless, you’re welcome. No expensive gear, photography experience, or technical knowledge required.
Come along, meet other creative people, try something different, and give yourself a reason to press the red button.

This Friday, we’re heading up to Wat Pha Lat, one of Chiang Mai’s most beautiful and atmospheric temples, for an afternoon of exploring, taking photos, and having a good time with our cameras.
The theme is simple: have fun and get creative.We’ll explore the temple and its surroundings, look for interesting moments, experiment with different ideas, and inspire each other to see the place in new ways.
And remember: you don’t need a dedicated camera. Your phone is absolutely welcome. Bring whatever you enjoy taking photos with.
