What we’re about
Goal is to create social opportunities for kids with no other focus than being in the presence of other kids. For example, the first meetup will probably be something like “kids play their favorite iPad games together in the living room”
We want kids who have barriers in socializing to have a group of kids to take part in activities that require partners or friend groups. For example, having connections with kids to attend their birthday party, without having to put the kind of social effort and skill that would normally be required to maintain such a social group.
We want to eliminate barriers such as noisy environments and unnecessary behavioural expectations.
The focus would be on kids who have inadequate social circles for any number of reasons, and kids who have adequate social circles but are interested in interacting with who are experiencing social barriers.
Meetups will be parented. Hopefully some long term, genuine connections can be formed.
