⚔️ BOARD GAME NIGHT X – Settlers of Tradition vs. Rebels of Friday ⚔️
The 9th Official Meetup was no simple gathering.
It was a clash of ideals, a test of tradition, a battlefield carved from hexes of wheat, wood, brick, ore, and sheep.
The Tuesday Loyalists stood firm, guardians of order and defenders of tradition.
But as whispers of Friday rebellion grew louder, the fields of Catan became the proving ground.
Jon P, valiant but cursed, was robbed twice in the same breath — once by the Robber, once by the Knight — all for a single card. His cry of “DICK MOVE!!!” echoed across the hills.
Jeff, buried under an avalanche of livestock, fought in vain as goats poured from every pasture. His voice, muffled but furious, roared “MORE %@#! GOATS!!!” The animals did not listen.
Jason, distracted and weary, made trades no faction could justify. Wood for sheep. Sheep for nothing. A deal struck in despair, and a sheep that walked away richer for it.
Meanwhile, the Longest Road stretched ever onward, brick by brick, as the Brother of Tradition built with obsessive triumph. His road was not just long — it was eternal, a monument to the Loyalist cause.
Around them, dice tumbled with little mercy. Resources shifted like propaganda. Settlements rose and fell like banners in the wind. And through it all, the question loomed: could Tuesday’s Loyalists hold the line, or was Friday’s Resistance already at the gates?
In the end, no victory was absolute. Only scars were left upon the land — wheat stolen, goats unleashed, trades regretted, and a road that seemed to lead nowhere.
The Loyalists survived another Tuesday… but the Resistance is coming.

📜 The Next Chapter
Historians will mark Catan as a turning point.
For the Tuesday Loyalists, Catan was proof that tradition still holds power.
For the Friday Insurgents, it was evidence that the old ways are breaking.
And so the lines are drawn.
Two nights. Two factions. One table.
But the conflict is no longer hypothetical.
Tuesday will defend.
Friday will advance.
And somewhere in the middle… a poor sheep will pay the price.
🎲 What You Need to Know:
🎉 New Players Welcome – Whether you march with the Tuesday Loyalists or whisper with the Friday Insurgents, all factions are welcome. Rules will be taught (effectiveness not guaranteed).
🎲 Got a Favorite Game? – Bring it to the table and make your pitch. Convince the Loyalists it’s worthy of tradition… or tempt the Rebels with promises of chaos.
🎩 Dress Code – Practical settler chic. Think tunics, cloaks, or anything that says “I’ve got wood, and I’m willing to trade.” Helmets optional. Goat-proof clothing recommended.
🍇 Etiquette – Sharing is caring — unless it’s resources. Then it’s extortion, and perfectly acceptable.
⚠️ Warning – The Robber takes no sides. If you hold cards, prepare to suffer. If you don’t hold cards… prepare to suffer anyway.
📜 Fun Fact – The longest recorded road in Catan stretched 27 segments… but the player insisted it “wasn’t about winning, it was about sending a message.”
🗣️ Table Talk – Expect diplomacy, betrayal, and at least one trade offer that feels like a trap. (It is a trap right Jeff!!!!!)
-Until next time, Your Loyalist by Tradition, Rebel by Temptation.

📜 Since Our Last Meetup...
⚔️ A rebellion has taken root. The Friday Insurgents have risen, breaking centuries (or at least nine weeks) of Tuesday tradition.
🐪 The Camel Union has attempted to remain neutral, but the goats of Catan have clearly gone rogue, overrunning pastures and embarrassing their handlers.
🍣 The Sushi Bandits have declared themselves “independent contractors,” offering tempura support to whichever faction pays in wheat.
🛡️ Jon P was robbed twice in one turn — a Loyalist sacrifice that fueled the Resistance’s laughter.
🛣️ The Longest Road was declared “essential infrastructure.” Friday refused to recognize it.
🥖 Wheat trades escalated into propaganda wars, each side insisting the other was unreasonable.
👤 The Jeffening appeared at the border between factions. Neither side dared to claim it.
