Hey,
Just Moved from Toronto where I was part of a very active Social Board Gaming network I was surprised to fire up Meetup and enter Board Games into the search and..... nothing.... no... that cant be right....
Tried again, and again....lots in Calgary and Edmonton but nothing in Red Deer...
This must be a glitch in the Matrix! :)
I am an avid board gamer (personally own over 200 titles) and am looking for my "Meeples!!" (Very very bad board gaming pun!) I am hoping to find an awesome weekly board gaming meetup group to join or if needs be Start One!! :)
Picked up a couple new titles from Value Village yesterday - Roadkill (Name sells it alone right!!) and Conspiracy Solomon's Gambit. Both new to me, never heard of nor never played.
Always up for social fun "learn to play new games" sessions also! So if you have a new game and want to learn to play or have that game you always wanted to learn, I'm in!:)
Looking for group suggestions or anyone interested in joining such a group.
I have already discovered The Wizards Loft via Google. Planning on checking out in person this weekend. Was unable to determine online if they host "official" board gaming nights.
OK that was a ramble :) Hoping to hear from at least one person... LoL
