Social Chess at Curzon cinema ♟️🦊 all abilities welcome!

Social space to play casual, friendly chess - all abilities welcome. We'll be upstairs from 6 pm in the rather beautiful bar area, which has a lounge & rooftop terrace.

Curzon cinema is a Grade II listed fully accessible venue, and honestly a bit of a hidden gem. They offer great coffee and drinks, sweet and savoury snacks, and tasty food - I recommend the mini pizzas!

When it comes to chess I'm an advanced immediate player, so can offer tips and a bit of coaching for beginners, happily observe the chaos unfold, or get stuck into the action 🗡🦊🛡
Chess sets are provided.

All other board games, role-playing games and small-scale tabletop wargames are welcome too. Feel free to bring something along and I'd love to try it. I'm really into Warhammer 40k: Kill Team, for example, and have long wanted to be properly introduced to Dungeons and Dragons.
