20:00 Grand opening of Buurt in Beeld exhibit + followed by live jazz music all night

Buurt in Beeld opens its doors – a photography exhibit woven from stories, faces, and moments from the Nieuwmarktbuurt's past and present. Not a gallery show with a single artist at the podium, but a collective neighborhood portrait built from the inside out.

MUSIC-DANCE THEATER PREMIERE (15min): At 2 moments, there will be the world premiere of PERSON – a new music-dance theater work by Arielle (harp) and Albert Manders (flute, co-founder RLAC). A duo that began in contemporary classical music and let improvisation, movement, and dance slowly find their way in. This is the first time the piece meets an audience.

JAZZ MUSIC Justin Zitt (piano) and Ton Felices (double bass) perform live throughout the evening – two of Amsterdam's most compelling young voices in jazz, bringing bold harmonic language and spontaneous energy to the room.
