About us
This group is for North Country Trail hikers in North Dakota! The Central Flyway, Sheyenne River Valley, and Dakota Prairie Chapters of the North Country Trail Association use this Meetup to schedule events and trail work projects on the North Country National Scenic Trail in North Dakota.
All of the group's events are open to anyone - you do not need to be a NCTA member* to participate in our events but we invite you to join us! Membership in the NCTA supports trail-wide initiatives but also helps the local Chapters have the funding they need to build and maintain the NCT locally.

Along the Trail Virtual Speaker Series: Sheyenne N.G. @ Brockopp Brewing
Brockopp Brewing, 114 Main St E, Valley City, ND, USThe Sheyenne River Valley Chapter of the North Country Trail Association invites you to an evening with the National Park Service to learn more about the North Country National Scenic Trail in North Dakota - specifically the Sheyenne National Grasslands.
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the National Park Service is excited to announce Along the Trail, a virtual speaker series created for the dedicated trail community. This series brings together voices from across the trail’s landscapes to explore the rich nature and history that defines both the trail and the nation it traverses.

Refreshments (both adult & n/a beverages and snacks) will be provided by the Sheyenne River Chapter.

Hike with us!Join the SRV Chapter for an optional 1.25-mile hike on the NCT before the event. Meet at Brockopp at 4:30pm for a shuttle to Medicine Wheel Park and an easy hike north 1.2 miles back to Brockopp (map: https://arcg.is/v0qfu0).
