Redgate UX Meetups are back!
Talk overview
Humanity’s evolution is built on connection with each other and the environment. Connection comes from empathy, and our intrinsic ability to understand, feel and then respond. However, our society has grown more fractured in recent years. Technology, the pandemic and other factors have made it harder to connect with others, on a deeper level - especially at work.
In the design and tech space, empathy is key to delivering good value for users. Perhaps more critically, empathy is also key to collaboration between people and teams.
During this talk, Imran will discuss what empathy means and the impact it can have on others when we practice it. This talk will explore how we can practice empathy in everyday life, and how it remains a choice for everyone.
