ReDI Munich Volunteer Info Session (Autumn Semester 2021)

The new ReDI Munich Autumn semester (14th of September - 17th of December) is around the corner. We are looking for volunteers to share their knowledge within a non-formal educational setting.

Support our growing student community by facilitating and co-creating together over a four-month period. Other tasks available are assisting in our coding classes and supporting students' individual journeys by mentoring, apart from helping out in workshops and events. Our courses range from digital literacy, intro to programming, to advanced work streams.

INFO SESSION

You will get the chance to meet the ReDI School Team and some of our volunteers, hear about the semester's plans for our Digital Career Program, Digital Women Program and Digital Youth Program or just ask any questions you may have. Come along, we are looking forward to meeting you!

ABOUT US

ReDI School of Digital Integration Munich (https://www.redi-school.org/redimunich) is a non-profit digital school for tech-interested newcomers and un(der)employed people in Munich. We offer our students high-quality training and the chance to collaborate with the start-up and digital industry.

Our aim is to provide our students with valuable digital skills and a strong network of tech leaders, students and alumni to help create new opportunities for all.

You are able to volunteer ( one of the options below):

1.Weekdays for 2-3 hours per class, in the evening (classes are 2 times per week 19:00 -21:00)
2.On the weekends (classes are on Saturday morning/afternoon)
3.Flexible during the day, weekends or children holidays

Our classes take place in Munich and online and you will work in a team together with 4-8 others. The class size is approx. 10 -15 students who are mostly fluent in English and/or German.

We are looking for volunteers who want to teach/support learning for the following topics:

HTML and CSS
JavaScript
Java
Python
Data analytics
Coding fundamentals (Python)
UX design
Digital literacy in German
HR, coaching and career development
