It has been a while since we last met to share and enjoy some poetry: Life definitely rushes by, doesn't it? But hey, let's plan on slowing things down a bit when we get together for our third installment of the "Poetry Corner" on Thursday, May 23 at 5:00. As always, we hope it will be a celebration of poetry and life. Here's the plan...

Please select a short- to medium-length poem to share with the group. After reading your poem aloud, you'll have an opportunity to talk about what the poem means to you, and we'll discuss the poem as a group. Your poem can be your original work, or a favorite work by another poet.

Our hope/goal is to nurture a community of poets and poetry lovers in Redlands and the surrounding area. Please plan to join us on May 23 to share your favorite poems and to explore and celebrate the beauty and power of poetry.
