Redmond Sunday Walk - September 13
Details
Redmond Sunday Walk – 10:00–11:15am
A relaxed, moderate-paced walk with good conversation.
We’ll meet under the covered pavilion at the south end of Luke McRedmond Park.
From the Luke McRedmond parking area, walk south/southwest toward the pavilion—you’ll pass a grassy area/dog park along the way. Exact coordinates of the Meetup location on Google Maps are: 47°40'21.1"N 122°07'54.6"W
We’ll start promptly at 10:00 a.m. and walk for about 75 minutes at a steady, conversational pace (not a slow stroll, not a fitness hike).
At the start of each event, we’ll choose one of four roughly 3 to 3 1/2-mile routes based on weather, trail conditions, and area events that may affect traffic:
• Sammamish River — river, Redmond Central Connector, and Powerline trails
• Windmill — Marymoor Park, the historic Clise Estate, and windmill
• Osprey — Marymoor Park, open fields, and osprey nesting areas
• Urban Redmond — Bear Creek, public art, light rail, and downtown trails
This is a small, informal group—easy to join, easy to return.
Please arrive a few minutes early so we can begin on time. Out of respect for everyone’s schedules, introductions begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and we depart immediately afterward. If you’re running late, the group may already be on the trail.
If you cannot attend, please change your RSVP/registration accordingly.
Note: If you need a restroom prior to walking, there is one near the meeting place at Hyatt House.
