Wundabiniring South - in the wandoo

Details

A great introduction to off-track walking.
Total walk distance is about 17km and mostly off-track with about 315m of uphill walking (not all at once) - rated as MODERATE.
(Please read all the event info before registering for this event esp. RSVPs !)

According to WalkGPS:
"This walk is in the northern part of the beautiful Wandoo National Park. It offers very pleasant, easy walking through picturesque, open wandoo woodlands. This route is the one for those who especially enjoy the breathtaking woodland scenery to be found along the rocky ‘breakaway’ slopes flanking the laterite-capped hill-tops. About 25% (~4km) of the walk is along those slopes which also provide glimpses of several of the surrounding hills including Mt Observation, Helena Hill, Pony Hill and Mt Clifford. The route also crosses a few granite outcrops surrounded by sheoak thickets and passes several large boulders elegantly sculpted by nature."
