Helena and Hancock Brooks (changed from Geddes Rock)
Details
Geddes Rock area has been subject to a controlled burn, and about half the walk route will have been affected.
We'll go to Hancock and Helena Brooks instead.
This is a loop of about 16km, about 63% off-track and 450m of cumulative ascent. Rated as MODERATE.
(Please read all the event info before registering for this event esp. RSVPs !)
According to WalkGPS:
"Hancock and Helena Brooks are delightful to visit after good winter rainfall. When they are flowing a number of small waterfalls and cascades occur along the largely rocky stream courses."
