When we’re not in touch with these parts of us, they go underground, rob us of our potency or behave in ways that wreak havoc in our lives. To own your meanness, your jealousy, your creativity, your fire, and your passion is to be a whole woman, integrated, feeling deeply, accepting and growing. And it gives you a chance to pause, and breath into the deep feelings and experience of being human while focusing the energy in the most powerful, growthful -- both psychologically and spiritually -- and actualizing ways.

While we don’t want to fuel our rage or jealousy, as women, we need to be able to access our full power and potency for change, justice, and alignment with our self. We want to learn from these parts, listen to them, understand what they're telling us.

As I sit with waves of rage from an unimaginable betrayal, it’s a compass that my values and boundaries have been seriously violated, something is out of alignment. I can use it to transform blame and judgement into discernment and wise woman living.
