What we’re about

Redwood City Social is for those interested in engaging in fun activities such as happy hours, wine tastings, dining at new restaurants, game nights, trivia, museums, movies, live music events, and hiking!

We enjoy checking out new hot spots, as well as those tried and true venues. Most of our events take place in Redwood City and nearby cities along the peninsula including Mountain View, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, San Carlos, Belmont, Redwood Shores, Foster City, San Mateo, Burlingame and San Bruno.

The three most popular comments that we get from people after events is that they had so much fun, met awesome people and tried out a place that had not been to before.

When you join, please upload a profile photo of yourself, as opposed to a cartoon, animal, or nature photo. Since attendees are often meeting multiple new people during events, this makes it easier for them to recognize and remember you before and after events.

Halloween Bar Crawl in San Carlos!

🎃 HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃
This will be the 8th year of the Pub Crawl, and it is always a frightful night full of fun, drinks, dancing, costumes, and scares!

We have done bar crawls in Redwood City, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Mountain View, Belmont, Sunnyvale, San Carlos, and Burlingame. This years’ city is downtown San Carlos.

Here’s the line-up:

6pm - 7pm: Molly O’s Irish Pub
(tvs, full bar, & pub food)

7:15pm - 8:15pm: You choose!

Option A: Orchid Room
(ultimate dive bar with pool tables, shuffle board & full bar)

Option B: Hapa’s Brewing
(craft beers, wine, cider, & simple foods)

8:30pm - 9:30pm: Elia!
(lively venue with DJ, patio, & full bar inside)

9:45pm - cows come home: The Rail (old San Carlos Club)
(lounge atmosphere, dance floor, karaoke—upbeat party songs only, & full bar; food deliveries allowed)

Please have your full orders ready & cash/cards out so it goes smooth for everyone. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic, and two ingredient / easy highballs are the quickest for the bartenders.

💀 Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged. You don't need to dress up with the theme, but if you want to it can be fun. The theme this year is 90's cartoons. Think Saturday Morning Cartoons, Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes, Nickelodeon, Ren & Stimpy, and more.

Please Caltrain or Uber/Lyft to be safe. As usual, drink responsibly.
