Summer Concert Series

This is a joint event with Explore The Bay (ETB).

Summertime...summertime...Who doesn't love summer! One of my favorite things to do is to attend outdoor music concerts. It's not just the concert that makes it a pleasurable experience. The pre-party with food and interesting people are at least half of the fun. Then of course, there is dancing to live music.

LOCATION
This concert will be held at Marlin Park (corner of Neptune & Cringle) as part of the Sounds of the Shores program in Redwood City. Please note that this is not in downtown Redwood City. Show up early for optimal seating. This is a beautiful spot. Formerly, this was the Marine World site.

ENTERTAINMENT
The Cocktail Monkeys is a band "consisting of five seasoned musicians the Cocktail Monkeys is a band that brings high energy and serious fun to each and every performance. For the last 15+ years, the band has been working steady in the greater San Francisco Bay Area performing a large variety of music from Classic Rock, Modern Pop & R&B. It’s no doubt that there is something for everybody. Come see the band live for a memorable experience."

NOT SO FINE PRINT
The park permits beer and wine, but not other types of alcohol. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Note that the exact location of the group will not be determined until we arrive and secure a suitable area on the perimeter for our large group. As soon as this has been accomplished, we will post an update on the event page so that members can find the group.

PARKING
Park for free in the surrounding residential and commercial areas.
